Cyber shamanic journey to the source of vitality
Immersive artificial forests rise on stage when video art intertwines with object manipulation and juggling in this contemporary circus performance. Maannos sprouts from the video game generation’s longing for nature and reaches for roots in the woods. It is a unique combination of live and video arts, shamanism and technology, fake and sincere.
Solo performance of circus artist Tuomas Vuorinen is a personal quest to find meaning and fulfilment by re-establishing the connection with nature. Perhaps a cure for anxiety can be found by following a mysterious childhood dream? During the performance, the audience is invited to wander with Tuomas into the forest, ask for guidance from animal spirits and dive into dark waters.
Blind Gut Company
Blind Gut Company is an experimental and adventurous contemporary circus group from Finland. Since its founding in 2015, the group has premiered eleven circus performances. Blind Gut creates touching and thought-provoking performances for audiences of all ages.
